Finjan's unified Secure Web Gateway is the first of its kind to provide
enterprises with a cost effective web security solution with low
administration cost. Instead of using multiple point solutions running on
separate appliances, Finjan Secure Web Gateway combines multiple web security
and control capabilities on a single appliance. All combined features are
easily managed, using a user-friendly administrative GUI.

Finjan's unified Secure Web Gateway combines:

    - Multi-layered web security to protect valuable business data against
today's cybercrime threats. Combining Finjan's active real-time content
inspection technology and optional anti-virus modules, the multi-
layered solution provides protection against zero-hour vulnerabilities,
evasive web attacks, code obfuscation techniques and drive-by attacks
installing Trojans. Finjan's technology has also been enhanced to
inspect Acrobat Flash and PDF files in real-time.

    - Data Leakage Prevention (DLP) to protect enterprises from intentionally
or unintentionally leaking sensitive corporate data by employees or
Trojans. Outbound communications inspection includes HTTP/SSL traffic
and the prevention of "Trojans phoning home" communications.

    - Productivity, URL filtering and Web 2.0 control to enable organizations
to fully benefit from the Web and Web 2.0 applications while
      controlling employees' productivity.

    - Applications control to increase employees' productivity and prevent
the leakage of corporate data by controlling the use of common
applications per specific policy groups. Applications include Instant
      Messaging, Skype and P2P.

    - Secure content caching to accelerate web content access, improve user
      experience and save bandwidth cost.

"It is good to see that Finjan has moved on to cover the major areas of
the infosecurity market that Butler Group predicts will be important in 2009,
Web protection, information security and data loss prevention. Finjan's new
Secure Web Gateway v9.2 covers all these issues and fits well around what we
think Enterprises should be concentrating on," stated Andy Kellett, Senior
Research Analyst at Butler Group.

In today's economic climate, organizations are looking for a
multi-layered and easy to manage Web security solution with low
administration overhead and ownership costs. Finjan's unified Secure Web
Gateway is uniquely positioned to meet these criteria. Lower Total Cost of
Ownership is achieved by utilizing a single appliance that centrally manages
all security features. Savings on power consumption, floor space and
hardware-related costs, as well as reduced administration time further
contribute to low TCO.

"For enterprises, getting maximum value out of their security products is
more important than ever," said Werner Thalmeier, VP Products for Finjan.
"They are looking for a unified security solution with low TCO and maximum
benefits. Our new Secure Web Gateway release provides enterprise customers
with a superior Secure Web Gateway solution that is easy to manage and has
low ownership costs. It provides organizations with multi-layered web
security, productivity and Web 2.0 control. Furthermore, this unified Web
security solution also enables Data Leakage Prevention, secure content
caching and application control."

To assist organizations in their selection process for the optimal Web
security solution in today's challenging economy, Finjan provides various
considerations and selection criteria for their decision making process. In
its special guide
(http://www.finjan.com/objects/pr/Gartner_Customer_Newsletter_h1_2009.pdf)
incorporating Gartner's buyers guide guidelines, Finjan provides enterprises
with an overview of the features and capabilities to look for when purchasing
a Secure Web Gateway (http://www.finjan.com/Content.aspx?id=190) solution.

Kellet continued, "I meet many Chief Information Security Officers who
want to resolve the issue of DLP. They are, however, faced with issues
relating to classifying and controlling data that require huge investments in
resources and new technology. Recently we have seen a change in emphasis by
CISOs who now want to invest in simplified DLP solutions while delaying
broader solutions."

"Finjan's new DLP module enables enterprises to prevent data leaving the
organization via online communication channels. This creates a simple cost
effective solution while they continue to develop their broader content
discovery and categorization policy between the different business groups",
said Werner Thalmeier, VP Products for Finjan.
