Mobile World Congress in Barcelona the successful completion of a Site
Acceptance Test (SAT) of the first Mobile WiMAX network in Maputo,
Mozambique. The SAT completion is the last stage before the commercial launch
of the WiMAX services, scheduled to start in April 1st, 2009.

The system deployed in Maputo consists of complete end-to-end
IEEE802.16e Mobile WiMAX system based on Runcom's OFDMA technology including
CPEs, base-stations, ASN Gateway, and advanced NOC solution with AAA, billing
and other value added services.

expansion plan for broadband wireless services based on Runcom's WiMAX
