Kodak and Scalado Join Forces to Enhance Next-Generation Imaging Solutions


ROCHESTER, New York and LUND, Sweden, February 19 /PRNewswire/ --     Scalado, a leader in mobile imaging software solutions for
fast and memory efficient image processing and Eastman Kodak Company
(NYSE:EK) the world's imaging innovator, today announced that Scalado's
SpeedTags(TM) technology will be implemented in Kodak's upcoming KSP-720060
TRUESENSE enabled image signal processor (ISP).

Scalado's leading edge technology will be integrated in the
KSP-720060 and follow-on stand-alone ISP companion chips, enabling quick and
easy management of large files and a significant improvement in overall JPEG
image handling performance in mobile devices, such as camera phones and PDAs,
and digital still cameras.
