EquaSiis Formed to Provide Software, Intelligence, Insights and Services

LONDON, February 19 /PRNewswire/ --

- Shared Services, Sourcing Practitioners and Service Providers to
Benefit

EquaSiis, an EquaTerra company, has become a separate business to focus
exclusively on helping shared services, outsourcing organisations and service
providers improve operational performance through EquaSiis software and tools
along with subscription and specific advisory services exclusively for
service providers. EquaSiis will begin with over 50 global clients formerly
serviced by EquaTerra.

"We have seen an increasing market demand for software and tools aimed at
creating value for service delivery analysis and sourcing teams, shared
services and outsourcing governance organisations. These organisations are
seeking data, research and software to achieve cost reductions and best
practices to support business decisions" says Mark Toon, CEO of EquaTerra.
"In response to this demand we decided to create EquaSiis."

The company's software offerings include EquaSiis Enterprise, focused on
improving operational governance for business support services and IT, and
EquaSiis Workbench, focused on providing sourcing and service delivery
analytics teams with a collaborative toolset to improve efficiency during any
service delivery assessment or sourcing project.

"EquaSiis Enterprise(TM) developed in collaboration with Microsoft, is
instrumental in the management of outsourcing relationships for Microsoft,
with a global footprint of more than 90 countries. The Enterprise(TM)
solution enables us to view and analyse data critical to our success. The
value is significant given our ability to leverage our existing
infrastructure including SharePoint(R) and SQL Server(R)," says Taylor Hawes,
Controller, Financial Operations, Microsoft Corporation.

Bill Weathersby will operate as president of EquaSiis, and will be joined
by a global group of former EquaTerra research, data analysts and software
experts who are currently performing these services. "It is exciting to
consolidate several existing service offerings into one business unit with a
singular focus. The new business will go to market as a software and
intelligence group focused on buy-side clients and an insights and services
group aimed at service providers," says Weathersby. Mike Beals will lead
EquaSiis Enterprise and Workbench efforts.

EquaSiis Insights offerings are targeted for service providers and
include subscription services for market data, best practices and custom
research, custom consulting designed specifically to improve sales
effectiveness and go to market strategy, and studies of service provider
satisfaction and best practices for service providers. Ron Walker will lead
EquaSiis Insights, and Stan Lepeak will lead global research in the Insights
program.
