GigaSpaces Technologies today announced that Shay Banon will present at
the upcoming JAOO conference in Denmark. During the session, Banon will
discuss how to implement an architecture that meets the demanding
requirements of "next generation" applications while keeping the Spring
developer within the comfort zone of a typical Spring development experience.
Attendees will learn how to craft such a solution using GigaSpaces new
OpenSpaces initiative, providing data grid and event driven functionality and
a simple SLA driven Spring (non JEE) container.
In addition to being a system architect at GigaSpaces, Banon is the
founder of the Compass open source project, a unique solution enabling search
capabilities into any application model. He started working on
mission-critical, real-time C/C++ systems, later moving to Java. Within the
Java world, Banon has worked on a propriety implementation of a distributed
rule engine (RETE) server, Java based web projects and messaging based
projects within the financial industry.
GigaSpaces provides infrastructure software solutions that deliver
unparalleled, dynamic scalability for high-volume transactional applications,
without the overhead and complexity inherent in traditional multi-tier
development and deployment environments.
JAOO is organized by developers for developers. Participants gain
knowledge on a broad range of topics in professional software development
through lectures and hands-on tutorials. Conference tracks include enterprise
applications framework, Web 2.0, public sector open source and the .Net road.
JAOO attracts approximately 1400 participants including software developers,
project managers and decision makers in such fields as Java, .NET, XP, Agile
and project management.
