WISeKey Brasil Launched With Brasilinvest Group at the 2009 World Economic Forum on Latin America


GENEVA, April 15 /PRNewswire/ --     WISeKey, one of the World Economic Forum founding members of the New
Champions, announced today during their participation at the World Economic
Forum in Rio the establishment of WISeKey Brasil. WISeKey has established a
Joint Venture with Brasilinvest with the objective to use Brazil as the
regional Hub platform for the expansion to Latin America. The project will
establish a regional Hub which will strengthen digital interrelations between
Latin American citizens in order to create a Latin American identity (I'm
Latin American, http://www.hightrusted.com/latino-americano) based on
specific regional attributes (language, nationality, age, professional
activity, etc).

The World Economic Forum in Rio with the full support of President Luiz
InÃ¡cio Lula da Silva and the Forum's key Strategic Partners, will reconvene
500 of the most prominent leaders from Latin America and other parts of the
world from 14 to 16 April 2009 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to build on the
success of the World Economic Forum on Latin America in CancÃºn, Mexico, in
2008.

The New Champions Community is composed of rapidly growing companies that
have both the aspirations and ability to successfully expand outside their
domestic markets.

The Joint Venture includes an injection of capital into WISeKey Brasil by
WISeKey SA (mother company) and Brazilian group Brasilinvest, accelerating
the setting up of a distribution network in Latin America for WISeKey
technology.

Mario Garnero, the Chairman of Brasilinvest Group, said: "The launch of
WISeKey Brasil with the support of Brasilinvest Group will allow us to
internalize WISeKey's technology in our market and to introduce this unique
Swiss technology to be used in other leading Brazilian sectors such as
banking and alternative energies.
