Optasia Medical, Ltd. Achieves ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 Certification


CHEADLE, England and SUDBURY, Massachusetts, May 11 /PRNewswire/ --     Optasia Medical Ltd., a maker of model-based vision software for
musculoskeletal radiography has received certification for the successful
registration of our quality management system to both ISO 9001:2008 and ISO
13485:2003. The certification audit was performed by a representative of
Intertek in January 2009. The Intertek auditor examined all elements of the
Company's Quality Management System (QMS), including quality policy,
objectives, processes, record keeping, and also interviewed on-site staff.

Certification to ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 13485:2003 requires a commitment
to quality throughout the entire company. Policies and processes are
understood and followed at all levels and by all employees. Key processes in
the company are mapped out, controlled by monitoring, measurement and
analysis, and ensure that product quality objectives are met.
