Technology Company IAI Industrial Systems Will Supply Systems to Bulgaria (Revenue More Than 10 Million Euro)

WAALWIJK, The Netherlands, June 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Technology company IAI industrial systems in Veldhoven, the Netherlands,
a subsidiary of the stock listed company DOCDATA N.V. in Waalwijk, the
Netherlands, will supply over thirty units of two systems for de-centralized
personalization of passports and ID-cards to Bulgaria. The majority of the
systems will be supplied within 2009.

One of the systems takes care of laser-engraving of ID-cards. The other
applies IAI's patented security feature ImagePerf(R) to passports and
ID-cards. These technologies have already been applied in IAI's highly
integrated BookMaster One and CardMaster One systems which target the market
of centralized personalization. For the Bulgarian project this proven
technology will become available in small stand alone systems that will be
supplied in larger numbers due to the lager number of personalization sites.

By developing these systems IAI is entering the market of de-centralized
personalization.

IAI's principal in the Bulgarian project is Siemens EOOD, the local
Siemens subsidiary in Sofia, Bulgaria. Siemens will acquire the systems
within the framework of an order from the Bulgarian government.

Apart from the supply of systems the order also includes maintenance
support for a seven-year period. Maintenance will be carried in close
co-operation by IAI and the local Siemens subsidiary in Sofia.

The IAI part in the revenue of the Bulgarian project totals well over 10
million Euro.

Being a leading equipment supplier to the Security Printing market, IAI
industrial systems supplies systems for securing and/or personalization of
passports, ID-cards, driver licences, banknotes, diplomas and many other
security documents.

IAI's systems are in use in many countries such as: the Netherlands,
Belgium, Switzerland, Ireland, UK, Sweden, China, Ukraine, Russia, Canada,
Portugal, Estonia, Costa Rica and South Africa, and are planned to be
