EDG to Support Dutch Company With Construction of Biomass Plants
ZUG, Switzerland, September 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Swiss Hawk's portfolio company, Enviromental Development Group AG
("EDG"), has annouced the closing of an agreement with the Dutch company
Beesterzwaag Beheer B.V. ("Beesterzwaag"). Beesterzwaag is a technology
leader in the field of utilisation of biomass for energy production and reuse
of minerals. The patented technique allows a sustainable handling of
agricultural waste derived from animal breeding and farming.
The Beesterzwaag method is different from conventional plants, in that
the minerals contained in agricultural waste are separated out and can be
reused in fertilizer. Beesterzwaag is currently constructing two plants in
Belgium and the Netherlands, in co-operation with Biomassa Holding B.V.
EDG , plans to co-operate with Beesterzwaag in regard to building of an
additional plant in North-West Germany. The investment volume totals approx 6
million EUR. EDG has made an exclusive agreement with Beesterzwaag for the
promotion of the technology in the German market.
