Online Poker Qualification Underway for European Masters of Poker Grand Final Malta

The final leg of the European Masters of Poker tour will see the
five-city festival land in Vittoriosa, Malta from September 23 to 26 where up
to 500 players will compete in the EUR1,500 + EUR150 buy-in main event. In
this event players will start with 15,000 in chips compared to the regular
10,000.

Qualification for the Maltese grand final is now underway across the
Entraction network where poker players can qualify for as little as EUR2 or
200 VIP-points. Premium partners for the European Masters of Poker are
i4poker, Pokerihuone, Pinnacle Sports, KickOffPoker, DailyPoker, GoldWin
Poker and 24hPoker.

There are four main satellites each week;

Monday 19:40 CET with EUR100 buy-in and 2 packages guaranteed worth
EUR2,500 each.

Wednesday 19:40 CET with a EUR100 buy-in and 2 packages guaranteed.

Thursday 19:40 CET with a EUR200 buy-in and 4 packages guaranteed.

Sunday 19:40 CET with a EUR200 buy-in and 4 packages guaranteed.

Daily super satellites to all main qualifiers are available.

Additionally August sees a number of ways to win free packages worth
EUR2,500 (EUR1,500 + EUR150 buy-in plus EUR850 in expenses).

Players who earn 2,000 VIP points before the end of August 28 will be
able to register for a restricted freeroll on August 29 at 6:30 p.m. BST, Two
packages will be given away to the winners of the EUR150,000 Guarantee -
August 30, 8 p.m. BST and Sunday EUR50,000 Guarantee - August 23 at 8 p.m.
BST. Finally three packages will be given away for the winners of the August
sit & Go leader boards - one for the winner of each of the Low, Medium and
High leader boards.

Players can also buy in directly through their Entraction account to the
live event in Malta for EUR1,650.

An additional benefit of the European Masters of Poker is the leader
board competition where players can win additional prizes beside the regular
prize pool. Five percent is taken from each tournaments prize pool and is
placed in the leader board prize pool. The top 15 overall players will
receive cash prizes after the five tournaments are completed.

The estimated first prize is EUR25,000. In addition to this, the winner
will receive a watch worth EUR10,000 if the player has earned 25,000
VIP-points from January 1st 2009 until the start of the last tournament.

Anton Wigg from Sweden topped the field of 399 players at the European
Masters of Poker in Casino Barcelona last month taking down EUR55,502 for his
victory. The EMOP Barcelona event attracted the largest field of the tour so
far.
