Aleris International, Inc. Announces Completion of Purchase of Alumox


BEACHWOOD, Ohio, September 24 /PRNewswire/ --

Aleris International, Inc. announced today the completion of its
acquisition of Alumox Holding AS located in Norway. Through its subsidiaries,
Alumox AS and Reox AS, Alumox recycles dross and scrap to recover aluminum
and processes salt slag to recover aluminum and aluminum oxide. The Alumox
business is expected to be integrated into Aleris's European recycling
business.
