A new online shop targeting consumers, recycling enthusiasts
and gardeners in the UK has been launched by Europe's leading waste
management company, Plastic Omnium.

http://www.NowRecycle.co.uk will give the general public access for the 
first time to Plastic Omnium's range of top quality products and guarantees. 
Up until now, these products have only been available to local authorities,
waste collectors and industrial customers.

With the UK still lagging behind the rest of Europe when it comes to
recycling, composting - one of the easiest ways to start recycling at home -
is still only carried out by one third of us. This means that nutrients that
could be saved and recycled back into our gardens, parks and open spaces are
instead adding to the massive 10 million tonnes of waste that is being sent
every year to landfill sites up and down the UK.

With the launch of nowrecycle.co.uk, Plastic Omnium wants to
call for more consumers to compost by providing the products that hundreds of
local authorities across the UK have come to rely on. Products available on
the http://www.NowRecycle.co.uk site include kitchen and garden composters 
and bins, office recycling bins and garden equipment. The range includes 
Plastic Omnium's unique IBAC collection coming in a choice of pastel, 
translucent and fluorescent colours that are aimed at helping boost waste 
streaming. Desktop mini bins are also available ideal for use as desk-tidy, 
storing small items and even for keeping used tea bags before they go in the 
compost bin.
