DUBLIN, September 30 /PRNewswire/ --

- April 2009 saw Peter Murphy Complete his First Multiplier
Challenge, Turning $100 Into $10,000; the Next 11 Weeks see him Step up a
Grade to try and Turn $1,000 Into $40,000 in Multiplier Challenge x 2

Boylepoker.com today announces the launch of the Multiplier Challenge x
2, which will see sponsored pro Peter Murphy try to turn $1,000 into $40,000
in 11 weeks from October 1.

In April this year Murphy successfully completed the first Multiplier
Challenge, which saw him turn $100 into $10,000 in the space of just 10 weeks
- just five days ahead of his 11-week deadline. Murphy subsequently qualified
for the $250,000 guaranteed on and collected another $2,000, bringing his
total to $12,172.21.

Fans of the Multiplier Challenge x 2 can follow Murphy's progress at
http://boylepokerblog.com/, where there will be regular updates from the
Boylepoker Team and Peter himself. Look out for Peter's alias
'murphymultiplier' at the http://www.boylepoker.com tables from October 1st
to see if he can turn a $1,000 bankroll into $40,000

The tale of the first Multiplier Challenge took a dramatic twist when
fellow Boylepoker.com player Adrian McCarthy was inspired by Murphy's
attempted spin up, deposited $100, followed Murphy's lead, and after just 10
days had accumulated $135,000.

First McCarthy won six $20 sit 'n' go tournaments in a row on the Jackpot
tables at Boylepoker.com and collected $35,000. He then went on to win a seat
in the $2.5 million guaranteed tournament at the site and came sixth in the
tournament pocketing another $100,000.

Paul Spillane, head of poker at Boyle Sports, said, "Peter showed just
how good a player he is, grinding up from the lowest levels to beat his
deadline by five days last time. This time he has a lot more to play with,
but will the jump up in levels cause him problems? Drop by regularly to
boylepokerblog.com to find out if he can succeed again."
