Update of Standard Line-up of Small Size TFT LCD Panels by Seiko Instruments
NEU-ISENBURG, Germany, November 4 /PRNewswire/ -- New 7.0", 2.4" and 2.8" modules have been released. The
patented Fringe Field Switching (FFS) cell structure provides extremely wide
viewing angle up to 170 degrees in horizontal and vertical direction,
combined with a very high contrast as well as unmatched readability in
sunlight due to an extraordinary bright backlight (450 cd/sqm).
All modules are available with an optional resistive
touch-panel and, caused by the compact construction (3.3 mm thickness), they
perfectly fit for the use in various portable devices. Due to long-term
product availability policy, these modules are suitable for industrial
applications.
Available modules of this series are:
- 2.4" QVGA (240 x 320) FFS
- 2.4" QVGA (240 x 320) FFS
- 3.5" QVGA (320 x 240)
- 4.3" WQVGA (480 x 272)
- 4.3" WVGA (800 x 600) FFS
- 7.0" WVGA (800 x 600)
The FFS models are usable in landscape or portrait mode
alternatively, due to its very wide viewing angle.
