OMG I have 1 of these... IT ROCKS

Pros:
Amazing graphics and fun gameplay. Very stylish and sexy with black and chrome finish. Not a big console. Full HD is awesome. Being able to install games to hard-drive is a plus. 120GB Hard Drive more than enough. New dashboard update looks great, is easy to use, and improves performance. Most games have better lighting, details, colour, etc, (such as Fallout 3) when played on the 360 as compared to other consoles. Light and very comfortable controller (best controller I've ever used). Xbox live is awesome and constantlly update. Not too expensive and well worth the money.

Cons:
Fan still makes a little noise, even if playing from hard drive. Can get a little warm if playing for hours. No internal HD disc player, such as HD-DVD or Blu-ray. Microsoft rushed it out too fast. In turn they could have included an HD-DVD drive built-in, and put their games of HD-DVD discs. Have to buy wireless adapter for wireless capabalities. Wireless adapter slow (doesn't accept 'N' singals from routers.) Xbox Live not free.

Review:
Microsoft's Xbox 360 console is a hugh leap from the first original. The gameplay and graphics are just stunning. It's exclusive games like Gears of War 2, Halo, Fable 2, etc, make it well worth your money. In addition, other games were made exclusive first on the 360, such as Bioshock. With one of the biggest bang for you buck that you can get, it's no wonder why this console is still leading in sales in the game industry.

The reliability sucks. Bought two, both died. One MS fixed free, the other they returned unrepaired, so I had to junk it and buy a new one.

All in all, way overpriced for what you get, in my opinion.

Whats not to love about the 360? Great system, Xbox live and the only console to have Gears of War and Halo!

The only problem is the consoles break down alot RROD, E74 and so on however with the new lighton drives and Jasper boards its not as bad as it was.

I like the system and the games, I really really just hate the RROD. On my 3rd 360. My first two were elites, but I finally just settled on the arcade.

Pretty darn good system, my 2nd one broke tho.

What I'm still angry about is just about every 360 at Christmas '08 came with that Indiana Jones/KF panda game but mine didn't and my parents payed full price. Not that big a deal but I should have got a store credit or something. I have to say after a few years of SD xbox 360 and now after owning the Elite, I will never not go HD when it comes to gaming, it's like the games are 100% better!

The elite was worth the money way back then, but now since hdmi is standard on every 360 it's a total ripoff. You can buy an arcade for 200, invest in a bigger hard drive and it's about 100 dollars cheaper than buying an elite at the store.

The elites have the same problems all the other 360's do, it really depends on the version of the board.

All in all it was a good buy and if i had to do it again i would probably buy an arcade instead.

Good console cant get people saying it has excellent graphics (the same graphic hardware as every other 360). HDMI, cool. 120GB, Nice but really not worth having elite if u dont use xbox live much. You'l just have tons of space doing nothing. Black finish, more like very dark grey (matte not chrome like ps3). But most importantly there is no real exclusivity. If Im on live Im just like every other 360. So much for been elite............

I have an elite as well, and really enjoy it. I haven't had any trouble with it. I use it for playing games and streaming music/movies from my PC, and also netflix streaming movies. I think this was a pretty poor review by moonching, I'm dissapointed afterdawn allowed this post. If your going to post a review, post one. Is "I like my PS3 better" a review?

I have a ps3 and a elite and I play my ps3 a whole lot more...and my xbox is even modded..

graphics are so better, and internet is free, and blu-ray.

I think the console is good, but beware the RROD. Hopefully, M$ can work and improve the quality of their product for the price. Games are good, especially for older audiences.

I think it is a great product for a gamer who will be getting Xbox LIVE, but if your not planning on getting Xbox LIVE then I would recommend getting the Xbox 360 pro or the Xbox 360 Arcade.

i bought mine before hdmi shipped as standard and it was worth it for the hdmi, the 120gb hdd not to mention the sleek black finsih :D

Storage is excellent, HDMI is great, glad it's a nice step up from the original Premiums.

I like it. I think you get a lot for your money. And would buy again.

I love my Xbox 360 Elite because I love to play online with friend and I also love the great games it has right now.

I give it 1 star only because could go lower....

The 360 is the best of the three. Could it be better? Yes. But it has the best games, the best online options, and the most support.

It needs more games, but that is true for all the systems right now.

This is probably the most reliable and best quality system there is to buy. It has excellent graphics and awesome features, it also has a 120GB hard drive which is awesome because if you have X-box Live you can do so much with it, like download movies and cartoons or whatever your in to. You can also download from a handful of X-box original games they have for download. This system is well worth the money, it's like a giant theme park patched down into a little console and put in a box waiting for you to buy it.
