This version crashes on XP systems everywere. I don't know why it does that, all I know is this release sucks. 1.17.2 please!

I resently discovered CCE, and it is indeed the best Mpeg2 encoder out there IMHO...
What I think DVD-rebuilder lacks:
1. Allow for more control over CCE SP settings, including bitrate settings.
2. Allow editing of video aspect with cropping and resizing. At this time,I've tried this by adding:
"crop(78,72,-78,-72)
LanczosResize(720,576,0,0,576,420)"
..to the filter editor to convert 2.35:1 to 1.66:1...
It works, but a previewable solution is disirable. :)
What I really like about DVD rebuilder:
1. It's easy. The alternative that provides in almost all of my needs, is a lot more work. (DVD2AVI(dg)>AviSynth>CCE SP>Encore)
Concluding: The average rating is because DVD-rebuilder feeds off CCE, not adding as much extra value as it could have, and probably will in the future.
I'm looking forward to 1.0!
