I downloaded the program, but when I went to install it, it asked for a serial number, which I couldn't find. So I have to give this program a very poor.

I tried this a while back on the recommendation of a friend who said it worked great for him. Upon downloading and installing it I was not really impressed with the speed that I got from it and the fact that it wanted to automatically download from the site I was in. I changed one setting only, that one was not to allow the program to download automatically. I shut the computer off and went out, when I came back and booted back up, up came a message saying the default networking connection for internet download manager had been changed and did I want to change it back to it's default. I allowed the change and it wanted to reboot again, only this time when it rebooted the system network authority program came up with it saying that the remote procedure call had been terminated unexpectedly and the computer was shutting down. I had 60 seconds and the computer shut down and rebooted only each time it rebooted I got the same message over and over again. I couldn't even get to system restore to undo the change. To me this program is nothing more than a piece of garbage and an accident waiting to happen. Before I installed it I had no problems downloading at all and no problems with network connections default or otherwise.

Normally I would rate Firefox in the top upper percentile but after having tried both Beta build 3 and 4 and having both crash upon opening for no reason. I would give it a poor rating as of this moment. I'm waiting to see if it improves in the final build which should be coming out shortly.
