For anyone suffering audio lag, I recommend downloading the free program avimux, which can be downloaded from here: http://www.videohelp.com/tools?tool=163
It is very easy to use, you drag and drop the files you want to convert into its interface, press the generate data source button and it will tell you if there is a built in audo lag and allow you to fix it. It takes seconds to do and then you can convert the files with vso and no more audio lag.
