if there ever was a ratio of CPU footprint to usefulness/effective/impact, uTorrent would win that contest with ANY application. It has the footprint of Notepad, yet it has all the features and the ability of a 3 old videostores ...combined!

Vobsub works with VirtualDub 1.6xx to 1.8.5 on Win98 to WinXP and Vista, no probs.
You don't EVEN have remove IE, but that helps in any case, so ... :)
From what i've seen you can just add your subs to it, in srt format
- no menus
- speed is kinda iffy.
good value for money, since its free.
