I have known this codec failed to work properly when a subtitle is muxed in the certified divx file. What it does...
1) When a subtitle detected in divx file, divx will select "enabled" as default without showing any subtitles until user click on subtitle, it then show (it should be off by default).
2) Subtitle shows until user pause/unpause then won't show even when re-selecting subtitle to display til user scroll the timeline bar, it will then display again.
3) When subtitle in divx file, all the features, brightness, contract, processing, film effects are not responsing (it responses to divx medias without subtitles.
4) Subtitle not showing smooth edge when a text (srt) file muxed in the media.
I have tested all the divx files without subtitles, works just perfect. Have DivX forgotten to check their codec with subtitles? Believe they are too focus on their stage 6 website. "Wake up DivX! Your pro is being paid for".

Media Player Classic is being used on my system in place of Windows Media Player. I had found two bugs in it.
1) It freezes for about 15 to 30 seconds when file menu is clicked while DVD movie in the drive.
2) It will only play the first part of the full 800MB CD movie for less than a minute when movie burned on CD with Mode 2 CD Maker. Windows Media Player plays the complete movie just fine.
Check to see if these problem does the same on your system. :)
A bug is found in VobSub of Subtitles section for bulit 1471 (20070909). It doesn't start up until I open the video window several times and it shows in the wrong position on screen. Yes, .srt and other format subtitle file just works great.
