I've been using Reaper DAW software since v2.0 and find it comprehensive, well featured and great support including a very well written users manual. I'm a musician songwriter, have been for over 40 years and have worked in the audio recording field using analog tape to digital software (Cakewalk, PowerTracks, ProTools, etc.) This is an excellent professional software that gives quality results.
Be careful, this setup installs information gathering spyware. Read the EULA carefully before installing. Not worth the 'free' availability because of it.
This utility gives complete and easy to access information of every factor of your computer. Only administrators have access to sensitive information and tools. An excellent information utility.
I've been using OpenOffice for a few years now and find it to be complete, efficient and a great alternative to MS Office. It is complete with dictionary (spell check) and thesaurus. The suite imports/exports in MS formats as well. There is a very well written user guide in PDF format available on the OpenOffice web site. You can't beat the price either!
This is a comprehensive media converter with wide flexibility. It takes a bit of going over the program to grasp the full potential. Results are excellent!
