I have tried several CD rippers and this is the best for sound quality and control I have found. It supports multiple languages for those of us whose native tongue is not English. The built in player option is just that - an option and I use Foobar 2000 as the default player on my system. I have used this software for over three years and I recommend it to all my musician friends and audiophiles.

When you need a tool for a file fix, this is a good handy tool to have in your arsenault of media software. Makes no sense to ignore this until you "must or bust", then search for the download. I've only used it once, but it worked fine on XP mce; doesn't take up much space and it'd free.

Would like GUI volumn/mute controls, but the sound is awesome with Cambridge Soundworks 2.1 speaker system or LTB 5.1 headpones. All the musical elements are clear, distinct and powerful. Highly reccomend to anyone who wants quality over scenery in an audio player.
