Well yea i used it also a few times, its very helpfull for fast cutting a few scenes or fixing audio.
But if you need a professional product, use adobe premiere or aftereffects ;) They have even more feautures.
VirtualDub is best freeware product for video and audio editing, if you want to spend money choose adobe ;)
