I use ImgBurn for years. Its awesome and free.
If the settings are wrong for you particular file type it will tell you and fix it.
If you use DL DVD and theres no place for the layer split it will help you find one.
If you use it as much as I do please visit the ImgBurn website and donate 5 bucks.
Wait... is this a player or a codec?
If you need a player get the new Daum PotPlayer. Its free, codecs are built in, and theres a portable version.
FFDSHOW is in my program files folder but its due to meGUI (which can update all your codecs, including FFDSHOW, automatically).
Really, its time to drop the avi and move foreward with the mkv!
Well, SUPER is great because it does EVERYTHING (except subtitles), and its free.
Sadly, its slow and requires tons of cpu resources.
Many times, after 24hrs of video encoding, Ill playback the file and itll look terrible. Ive played with all the settings and have yet to find a good setup.
Works great with all the audio files and has handy presets.
Recommend!
VLC is still being hyped by too many people.
I moved on to the KMPlayer long ago.
Now I use the Daum PotPlayer.
VLC is for old farts that still buy VHS.
This player was great in the 90s.
Cant believe people are still using it.
New for 2011 is the Daum PotPlayer.
Do some research people!
