I'd say that the biggest drawback to the latest verion of the software (While I am a supporter of DC++ in general, the best out there IMHO) really outweighs the positives.
That is that incomplete downloads are not readable, viewable etc...Incomplete downloads are saved in a new 'Incomplete Folder' as a DCTMP file that will not translate into an 'MP3', 'avi' or 'mpeg' file until the file is completely downloaded...So, if you want to check and confirm whether you want the file or even enjoy it, you'll have to wait until it is completely downloaded thereby wasting your time really.
I assume the new twist is a result of trying to prevent users from sharing incomplete files or perhaps it is a way to disguise downloads?...Either way, it's a new feature that appears to be here to stay...My advice, stick to the older build (0.401 etc.)
