No point in installing shareware garbage when full free versions are available

Excellant program, pretty much plays anything thrown at it,extremely lite on resources recommend to all
Wouldve given it 5 stars if it included linux partition formating
Excellent software for such a small foot print all thats needed is set it & forget it,using settings its nothing more than adding which drive letters to hard drives you want defragged at startup (just copy & paste where you C & change C to D,E, or what ever letter you want), which is great as the pagefile & hybernation files cant be defragged while windows is running so the utility starts before windows does, the optimization function can take hours more so on large hdds personally i cant tell if its any better however the graph says it is..lol..ive been using ultradefrag for around two years & its slowly evovling to be more noob friendly, its great to see devs listen to input
It helps if you read the instructions on how to use it,they are included in the folder after you unzip
Damned if i can figure out how to make the list go in alphabetical order why isnt automatic, whats the point of keeping a database if the dam thing stores them as tho you just threw a whole load on the ground..grrr..other than that it s a good program
Its primary function is gaming & as expected does it well like the original & so it should any other crap thats added apart from online play is nothn more than useless gimmik junk so ya know where can place the streaming, movie watching or web browsing, yep thats right you can stick it
on a comp where it belongs
what did you think i was going to say :p
If all you want is to view pdf with no frills this is it,extremely lite & no crap,a whole lot lighter & faster than foxit & less bloated
Too bloated for my liking, installed foxit reader tho i'm beginning to wonder about that too so have installed sumatra pdf now that's really small & took only 2.5 sec's to install after tapping install button i kid you not
No probs with 1.8 previous to going to v2.0 beta, the beta 2.0 seems fine & runs ok on my comp tho if your using vista or win 7 it may be a different story as there was at one point reports of crashes etc,tho if the forum is anything to go by that's now sorted, personally i'd give it a go the worst that'll happen is you'll have to downgrade to an earlier stable version, astrange thing is quick launch shortcut still is incorporated in the setup,i spose it don't matter since if there's no path for it in vista & win 7 it won't get created, still i'd prefer it not be automatic all the same even for xp,there are no cons as far as i know it runs perfect for me & is still light weighted
Would'nt call it fast it's no diff to any other in speed apart from opera & that's only because opera has the icon to shut off downloading of images until webpage has loaded, that said it is a nice clean GUI there's no spyware incorporated in it,one of the previous posters has it wrong it was more than likely an already infected comp,a nifty little feature is to have tabs on the bottom & menu bar at the top right, should be interesting to see what other skins may be availble if any
Pro's
Still being made.
reasonable size game selection sort of don't let the fanboys fool you.
controller good for driving games not so good for fps imo.
moddable
I
cons
over priced when it first came out & now for it's age it still is.
most games are crap or lag offline like a wet dog.
online-to be fair it was an after thought..lol..
tho it can be modded which is great, to really get your moneys worth your better off with the xbox 1 or at the least have both
summary:
was ok in it's day online was fun tho lag was frustrating more due to the hardware & software than the servers themselves, one has too applaud Sony for continuing production even if most games are shite so a realistic 3 stars from me
Cheap to buy & cheap to mod,go the extra & install a extender kit & have 3 hdd's,i have with two of my xbx's maaan it's freak'n awasome the only thing that comes close to any modded xbox is the computer & even then it's not as portable, two more xbox's are in the works for the same treatment, they should've kept making them like Sony has with the PS2 what a cry'n shame
Great little app,i've been using the free version for around 6 months & am most happy with it,start a transfer & if there's another batch to be moved they're opened in another copy window & will start when the first batch is finished or just hit the "start now" button,it can be also turned off if need be,best of all if a file can't be transferred it will automatically skip it unlike the windows dumb ass copy utility, pause & restart work well
Nah not duct tape that stuff is strong as & sticks like super glue even in the sun,i'd say held together by masking tape it eventually falls apart with decay :P
The Bad:
I expected better, much better for a so called next gen game, sadly this is the sort of thing id expect to see & experience when playing socom games on a PS2 in offline mode,i dont know what it is about the halo games or bad company but this game could do with it & the AI could do with a good dose of whatever intelligence engine the developers of sniper elite used.
The Good:
The story not what i expected its a refreshing change & that malaria cracks me up.
Large maps as youd expect.
The palm map thingy is a nice touch as is the cell phone & flame thrower, just remember to move when you set things a lite..lol..
As before youve got vehicles, always better to drive than walk imo, screw the gas house emissions
Summary:
I tend to never throw anything out & since i still play the other two farcrys on a regular basis along with the halo & sniper elite games,i guess this will get added to the mix,i just wish it was a little more advanced like the halos are in i assume the engine those games use,in NZ this game is $100. ($50. USA),no i wouldnt pay that for it,$30 tops NZ so ill be waiting for it to drop in price, all in all they better pull their finger out for the next one
K-lite kicks k-lame's ass if it does'nt kindly explain this from lames own website, like the saying goes keep it simple stupid..nough said now read on
To compile on Windows you will need to install QT4.3 and MinGW and set your system environment up according to the instructions provided with MinGW and QT4.3 open source edition. This is not straightforward so read the documentation carefully. Some additional information is provided in INSTALL file found in the kLAME source tarball. If you wish to use an IDE there are some notes provided here under DevC++, although I recommend using Eclipse. You can either install the Eclipse IDE or work from the command line. Unzip one of the source packages, change to the source directory and after making sure that LAME is installed correctly etc etc
One thing i don't get about java is why it does'nt uninstall the older versions as they're no longer needed & just take up a stack of space,so remember peeps it's ok to dump older versions.
For novice & professional alike, automated actions are listed under the title EXTENSIONS along the top menu bar for those of us who just want to get going, use the bottom of the program tab menu's to assign finished decode place folder & other minor ajustments
