By using DVD Shrink combined with DVD decrypter, I am able to back up 99% of all movies easily. While there is a bit of a learning curve, the guides (especially by scuba pete) and the forum make it able to backup 100% of the movies if you have the time to follow the advice and learn a few things.
I wasted money on a program and it turned out that the combination of the FREE DVD Shrink and DVD decrypter worked better than the program that I bought.
