TMPGEnc XPress v4.6.2.266

Commercial demo
Win2k / WinXP
TMPGEnc XPress is a high quality video encoder software, based on the famous "TMPGEnc Plus 2.5" and completely reworked to offer beginner and advanced users, the ease of work and quality that can be expected from a modern software. TMPGEnc 3.0 XPress natively supports source files in MPEG-1/2 format, unprotected DVD-Video VOB, Windows Media Video®, uncompressed AVI and QuickTime® files.

Furthermore, the code has been optimized to take advantage of the Intel® Prescott® SSE-3 acceleration to output MPEG files with higher performance and without losing quality. Output format is no more limited to MPEG,

TMPGEnc 3.0 XPress offers native interface for Windows Media Video®.

It has also introduced the XDVD (extended DVD) format, a unique and original format that allows to make MPEGs for High Image Quality and Long Playing DVD's, pushing the DVD-Video standard to its limits!!!

TMPGEnc 3.0 XPress supports the Dolby Digital AC-3 audio Plug-in, which can be used to encode audio in 2-channel AC-3 format. Multi-channel AC-3 is not, however, supported.

This trial version expires after 14 days of use.

TMPGEnc XPress v4.6.3.267

I've had a Led Zeppelin video.QTM (circa 1968?)that I converted to MPEG4, using all the default settings and installed on my LG VU. It runs perfectly in both vertical and landscape mode. No adjustments required!

TMPGEnc XPress v4.5.1.254

TMPGEnc 4 is pretty much the only tool I use for conversion - apart from VirtualDubMod for some rare cases with cutting/chopping and other editing. <br/> <br/>With the DirectShow reader, the only limit for input file formats is what codecs you have installed. Great all-in-one solution for tasks such as - <br/> <br/> - Converting DVD videos with a realtime decrypter [AnyDVD] into a Sony PSP or iPod Video format <br/> - Preformatting/reencoding your high-quality videos to a lower quality for quicker upload to YouTube <br/> - Supports AviSynth scripts [via ffdshow] for turning your AviSynth transforming tasks into a new "permanent" or finalized, compatible video format <br/> - And so much more! The possibilities are endless... <br/> - Converting downloaded FLV files to a generic format like MPEG4 [via ffdshow DirectShow Reader] <br/> <br/>...even on my old Pentium 4 Prescott 3.2GHz, the encoding speed of this program amazes me. The DivX edition, which I own, is ACTUALLY FASTER than VirtualDub and DivX 6 - i've done my tests, don't listen to that first guy [no offence champ!]. It is true that the DirectShow reader can be slower than native/inbuilt decoding, and can produce undesirable results if say ffdshow has filters enabled - but it's worth it as the flexibility is PHENOMINAL! <br/> <br/>HIGHLY recommended! 5/5, 99.9% rating! BUY IT! :D

TMPGEnc XPress v4.3.1.222

No encoding application can perform a DivX encode with anything over mid quality settings in 2 hours! Unless it's a single pass encode with very low quality settings. Admittedly, TMPGEnc 4.0 XPress is a little slower than say VirtualDub or MeGUI (about 15% slower). However, you do need to consider that this software is doing all the filtering (crop, resize, de-interlace etc.) and frameserving in one very easy to use application.

TMPGEnc XPress v4.2.3.193 Beta

encoding to divx takes 10h whereas any other software does the same job (same quality settings, filters etc.) in max. 2h. don't waste you money. be warned!

TMPGEnc XPress v4.2.1.188

I love tmpgenc xpress, I had version 3 and i just got the japanese version of 4 (wink wink). It is easy enough for a beginner, yet has enough fetures and options for the experienced user. lack of 5 chanel audio suport is my only gripe.
