PowerDVD Trial v9.0.2320

I do not recommend buying PowerDVD unless all you are interested in is playing the physical disc from your PC.

If you want to playback ripped discs from your hard drive you are better off with Arcosft's Total Media Theatre 3.

I wanted up-sampled DVD playback within MCE from ripped DVDs "TS folder" file structure. The only combination that I can find that works is TMT3 and My Movies. TMT3 will play TS folders and My Movies will set TMT3 as the default player for TS folders.

PowerDVD Trial v7.0.2414

I downloaded the software to play a PAL format DVD on my computer. Before the software finished downloading, the DVD played beautifully. Great stuff!

PowerDVD Trial v7.0.2414

I would have to concur with the rest of the folks here...

PowerDVD 7 Sucks...unless they have patched it up. I doubt it. PowerDVD 6 is better....but as already stated above, VLC Player RULES the lot. Much better support and its Free. Too many glitchy out of sync issues with divx and xvid playback. ffdshow is a good solid codec manager. If it doesn't work with that...then i suggest using your sales receipt for toilet paper.

PowerDVD v7.0.1725 Trial

I don't know anyone who uses this piece of garbage ahead of WinDVD or other video players and to pay $ 65 plus for it is the ultimate insult.

PowerDVD v7.0 Trial

oh and this v7 doesnt like xvid/avi playback, i heard something to do with FFDSHOW loaded (so that sucks...)
