PowerDVD 7 Sucks...unless they have patched it up. I doubt it. PowerDVD 6 is better....but as already stated above, VLC Player RULES the lot. Much better support and its Free. Too many glitchy out of sync issues with divx and xvid playback. ffdshow is a good solid codec manager. If it doesn't work with that...then i suggest using your sales receipt for toilet paper.

oh and this v7 doesnt like xvid/avi playback, i heard something to do with FFDSHOW loaded (so that sucks...)
rating = 1
for dvd player software either.
i have PowerDVD6 works ok...................
the problem i would have also. would be why someone
would pay that amount, when you can get a lot cheaper
i needed..........
i bought the OEM version #6 online at
www.5dollarsoftware.com for $5.00 cant go wrong
that way...................
they have many different software for sale.........
just wanted to throw that in....................
good day...............
I wish I had not! $65 down the drain, I fear.
It will not play any kind of DVD on my sytem, just starts and then apologetically cloese, sending an error file somewhere
