SoundIt is an excellent app that will stream the audio from your PC to your smartphone so you can watch videos with your smartphone and earphones.

If you have a PC connected to a television or external display, you might want to listen to the sound from the PC with earphones / headphones. Of course, if your TV has a headphone jack you can just plug right in, or you can plug your headphones into the PC itself.

However, what if the cable isn''t long enough or you are sitting far from your PC? This is where SoundIt is so useful.

SoundIt allows you to hear the audio from your PC on your smartphone or tablet. How it works is pretty simple but also very smart. It creates a local web server on the PC. Then, it gives you an IP address (your local PC IP) and as long as your device is on the same network (same wifi, for example) you should be able to open that IP address in your browser or another app on your phone.

When you do, you will be able to hear your PC audio through your smartphone / tablet and thus any connected headphones. You can then mute the actual PC if you wish and just listen on your device.

It is very easy to setup because the interface itself walks you through the process.
