Actually this comment is about the Splitter that I purchased (so, I have a registered copy!!) from Boilsoft - but like a bunch of others here, it is the business practices and total lack of support or honesty of Boilsoft. <br/> <br/>In the splitter, the Start and Stop features for creating selections - the split parts from the original file - that was extremely awkward to use. And I have used these kinds of features without problem with other software. <br/> <br/>But, I purchased the Splitter for $34.95 - and after 3 emails to them, with very detailed information about the steps I ran through. No response from them. <br/> <br/>So, I echo - stay away from Boilsoft!!!!

Extremely upsetting.....STAY AWAY!!!! HORRIBLE SERVICE FROM BUSINESS AND EXTREMELY UNRELIABLE. I have sent 6 emails to them basically telling them to screw themselves(the last two). DONT BUY FROM THEM, they wont give you a response or your codes!!!!!!!!!!!!TRUST ME DONT EVEN BOTHER, THERE ARE LOTS OF OTHER GOOD SOFTWARE OUT THERE THAT WONT STEAL YOUR MONEY.

I have purchased the video joiner ver. 4.21 and e-mail boilsoft 3x to get RegCode and no response whatsoever. I extremely disappointed and will never do business with this company. At least have the nerve to said "You're out of Luck". I would highly suggest to keep away from this company. Who knows if they are still in business or for how long?

The program works reasonably well, but...

Boilsoft, on its Web site, claims to provide free upgrades for registered users forever. I'm a paid registered user of Version 4.48 but Boilsoft refuses to provide a reg-code for Version 4.81. I've sent them eight emails, with copies of my paid invoice, asking for the promised free registration code, but it refuses to respond. It's as if my emails vanish into thin air. However, when I send emails, under a different name, inquiring about their upgrade policies, they promptly respond that as per their Web site, upgrades for registered users are free forever. That is an outright lie. If you buy this product, be prepared to pay for it every time an upgrade is issued, which is often. Boilsoft's claim that upgrades for registered users are free forever is FALSE! For this and this reason alone, I'm rating it "very poor."

If only this program did what it's supposed to. I found that it fails to recognise almost all of my video files......it's particularly lame when handling avi's.
Utterly useless.
