FAR Manager (File and ARchive Manager) is a program for managing files and archives in Windows. It provides a keyboard-controlled interface with limited mouse functionality (supports drag-and-drop for example) for basic file management procedures like viewing, editing, copying and renaming files and directories.

The program has its own plugin API, making it highly customizable for whatever needs you might have.

The 1.70 version is a shareware with 40-day trial, but the upcoming versions are open source.
