PC Tools File Recover can restore deleted files. Sometimes files can be deleted by a user by accident, especially if they are in the habit of using the Shift-Del combination to immediately delete files.
When a file is deleted this way (or through the recycle bin) it may still reside on the drive. The space on the drive that the file took up before deleting is simply now allowed to be overwritten again.
PC Tools File Recover can scan a hard drive, or removable media, for files that have been deleted this way but have not been overwritten since then. It then allows you to recover the file.
NOTE: This is the demo of the software. While it will allow you to scan your drive, it will not recover any files unless you unlock the full program by purchasing a license. If this is a problem for you, then look at our other selection of file recovery software here.
