UndoClose is a free tool that allows you to reopen the applications or folders you have closed using keyboard shortcuts. Open the last closed folder using Ctrl+Shift+F and for the last closed application use Ctrl+Shift+A. The tool runs in the system tray. You can also redefine the hotkeys if the predefined hotkeys come in conflict with other global hotkeys.
