Instant Privacy Blind (IPB) is a free utility that you can use to hide the contents on your screen quickly.
Perhaps you are planning a surprise for a partner's birthday and they walk in just as you are planning it on your computer. The first instinct would be to try to minimize the web browser and hide what it is.
With IPB, you can select a hotkey that you can use to instantly color your entire screen, blocking what you have behind it. A single click, or the hotkey, will restore the Desktop again when the coast is clear.
