Free Excel Password Recovery will attempt to break a password protected Excel file.
It supports Microsoft Excel 2017 and before and provides three methods of attack: Brute Force, Brute Force with Mask, and Dictionary.
Brute Force is a random attack with characters, symbols, numbers etc. Brute Force with Mask helps if you remember some of the password. Dictionary will attempt the words in a dictionary file as passwords.
While the software title says free, it is only free for partial recovery.
