UltraSearch is a freeware app for ultra-fast file searching in Windows.
UltraSearch probes the Master File Table (MFT) on NTFS partitions, it has no stored index on the drive as the Windows search service does. Simply enter a file name or a pattern like *.exe and see the first results while you are still typing. In addition, UltraSearch supports regular expressions.
In results, UltraSearch provides additional information on files, such as file size and file dates (last changes, last access and file creation). The Explorer context menu is available in the application.
The app can also exclude directories from searches using a filter.
Search results can be printed, or exported as HDMT, RTF, Excel or CSV.
NOTE: This is the 64-bit version of UltraSearch. There is also a 32-bit version available for 32-bit versions of Windows.
