BluetoothView from NirSoft is a freeware utility that runs in the background and retrieves information from Bluetooth devices located nearby.
The type of information that it retrieves is Device Name, Bluetooth Address, Major Device Type, Minor Device Type, First Detection Time, Last Detection Time, and more.
Once it detects a new Bluetooth device is active nearby, it will alert you to its presence using a balloon message in the Windows taskbar.
In order to use this application, you will need to have a Bluetooth dongle or built-in Bluetooth functionality in your computer. It works with most versions of Windows, right up to Windows 7.
