It works really well on my Dell with Windows XP. I'd like to use it on my new laptop with Windows Vista, however, I only will do so if I know it won't screw up my computer. Anyone try the newest version???
Good for older PCs but not good with 64bit Vista.
Its only an avg program in Vista 64bit, it does trash your internet connection as above but with Vista you can just download the LAN drivers again and it will be fine, but it should not do this, do not enable the deep scan and if you do create a restore point first.
Next time I will believe previous reviewers!! Despite being incredibly careful about what I removed or allowed the programme to do, it still absolutely destroyed my Internet connection AND my Anti-Virus software. Not even restoring the deleted files from the software's backups (or even XP Pro system Restore)managed to get me going again. It has taken nearly four hours to get the system working again.
works ok,,but if you uninstall it it trashes your internet connection..took me forever to get it straight.
I have also been using CCleaner, Spybot Search & Destroy as must have programs on one's PC. You can now add Advanced SystemCare to the list of must have tools. An Awesome piece of software which is easy to tidy up cluttered files, registry files etc on your PC and speed it up. It gives the added bonus of preventing spyware from installing on your machine. This is certainly a must have program for all beginners and pro's alike. So many cool features. Excellent ! Highly recommended!
Surprise, this utility really works for older, slower PCs using WinXP. It provides the right combination to Optimize my older clunky hardware.
Amazing program. It's always done the job I set in front of it. I've installed it on many computers of colleagues of mine and they just adore it. <br/>Only problem I have right now is that v2.5.7.941 is out but when you update from v2.5.7.833, it continues to register as v2.5.7.833 and not v2.5.7.941. <br/>Keep up the great work IOBit. I'll be using your product for as long as any computer needs cleaning.
I've been using CCleaner, Spybot Search & Destroy, and Spyware Blaster for years, but I am extremely impressed by what Advanced WindowsCare has to offer. This program has features that combines those three programs (and more) under one interface! This programs scans and removes spyware/adware, cleans the registry, optimizes and repairs your system configuration, manages your startup items, erases history and surfing traces, and cleans up junk files. It also gives you the option to create a system restore point before making any changes. This programs truly does an awesome job and I HIGHLY recommend it to all!
