Appnimi Password Unlocker is a tool that can help with recovering passwords for some protected files (ZIP, RAR, XLS etc). The tool is available for free from SecurityXploded.com.
It uses Dictionary and Brute Force methods to attempt to crack the password. For ZIP and RAR type, after recovering the password it will extract the files to a destination folder. For other types it will keep the unlocked version to the destination folder.
