GiveMePower can launch applications with SYSTEM level privilege, a higher permission level than Administrator.
This can allow applications to access data that is off limits even to administrators, such as the contents of SystemVolumeInformation folders (for System Restore) and also to REGISTRY keys that are off limits to Administrators.
This can come in particularly useful if you are cleaning up a malware infection and need the highest level of privileges you can get to remove items.
