Ultra Defrag (32bit) v7.0.0 beta 1

Open source
Vista / Win2k / Win7 / WinNT / WinXP
UltraDefrag is powerful Open Source defragmentation tool for Windows NT. It is very fast, because the defragmenting is done by kernel-mode driver. They are three interfaces to them: graphical, console and native. The GUI is very useful, because it represents your filesystem visually as a color coded cluster map. The console is another option for those that prefer the command line. It allows you to run UltraDefrag from the task scheduler and scripts. Finally, the native executable will run at boot time in a manner similar to chkdsk.

The design of UltraDefrag is very simple. There are no skins and other unnecessary stuff. It is a small and powerful program!

Ultra Defrag (32bit) v5.0.0 Beta 2

Excellent software for such a small foot print all thats needed is set it & forget it,using settings its nothing more than adding which drive letters to hard drives you want defragged at startup (just copy & paste where you C & change C to D,E, or what ever letter you want), which is great as the pagefile & hybernation files cant be defragged while windows is running so the utility starts before windows does, the optimization function can take hours more so on large hdds personally i cant tell if its any better however the graph says it been using ultradefrag for around two years & its slowly evovling to be more noob friendly, its great to see devs listen to input
