This is an old version of this software. You can also download 08/06/06 (latest stable version).

K-Lite Codec Pack is a free software bundle which contains everything you need to be able to playback the most popular audio and video formats. There are few versions of K-lite Codec Packs available and you can downlod them from here:

I downloaded this update which told me I had to download an updated K-Lite product, so I downloaded the K-Lite Mega pack. During the download of the K-Lite Mega pack, the software prompted me to uninstall some other codecs because this download had those codecs. It also had me uninstall an older version of K-Lite. I did all this, and now I can't get the video to work on ANY of my media players. I get audio and nothing but a green screen. What do I need to do to get my media players to work again ?

@badaboy, I think you have this program confused with kazzalite, this isn't a file sharing program. This is a pack of codecs that enable you to view different videos that were encoded with these codecs.

,,,,,While i was waiting to get the right codec...i also kept writing to KlitePro peoples....as i mentionned the codecs....wich i could not install because i still was missing(according to windows) other things every time i was trying to install.....AND..as an added feature Klite mentionned that they did not support these codecs...(should be verified as for original support) ....but provided me with a link wich permitted me to load ,,"Ares Ultra",,wich does not have all the features i had on Klite..but seems to work....GREAT DIFFERENCE AFTER 2 1/2 YEARS...but with a different name ..still not too experimented with it ...but seems good for the future

.....i have Kazaalite pro for ...2 yrs i had never heard of updates,,,and 'pop' on your bulletin there is 11 of them....my original 1.0.0.0 never went well and i could never find a forum where they talked about the subject..Kazaaalite pro ,neither on yours or others NOW,,that i have all downloaded them...should i know anything special before i "install" them..or is there some that i should not "open" All i want is a nice runnning program i dont know where i need to post this ,,,you might be able to direct it somewhere
