Vista Codec Package is a set of filters and codecs that will allow you to view your favourite video and audio files. Unlike some of the codecs, Vista Codec Package will give users the ability to choose what is installed using the public redistributable and after an unattended install, you can select to remove specific portions without removing the entire package. Vista Codec Package does not include a media player, so if choosing this codec pack, you might want to grab the latest version of Media Player Classic Classic as well.
