I was just got my self a HDD media box that has hdmi and component out on it. It can do 1080i/1080p over hdmi and does 720p and down over the component. when i hooked it up to my tv and changed the settings from 480p to 720p, the screen went all crazy like(green,distorted images)and thought that the box was broken, so I checked to make sure it wasnt the box and changed the settings on my DTV tuner to 720p and the same thing happens. is there a reason for this? could it be the TV is broken? I got it dumpster diving a couple of years ago and it works perfect except for not being able to display 720p/720i output.
