Unfortunatley, you just cannot swap out a drive that simple without researching. Your original drive contains a "key" that is motherd to the xbox. You need a "probe" to extract the key and dump it to your computer. Then, you could either get the same type drive or "spoof" another type. There are tons of instructions on this site and others. Alot involved in drive replacement.

Keep with the same model and make. You are succeptable to a ban if you "spoof" a different drive. Just my opinion.
