hi guys i upgraded my dell inspiron 1520 from 2gb ram to 4gb last year is it possable to go from 4gb to 8gb ?

Hi Paulie, I too have inspiron 1520, i have upgraded my ram to 1.5 GB DDR2 from 1 GB, i wanted to increase it to 4GB, Should i have 2 GB ddR2 sticks or just 1 stick of 4GB RAM. please advise.
System configuration is Intel Core 2 Duo CPU T5250 1.5 GHZ,32 bit OS

Also windows vista home premium makes the system slow, what do you advise 4 GM RA with Windows Vista Home premiu should be OK or should i got for Windows 7, 32 bit or Windows XP. Please advise.
