go to the guides section regarding dvd ripping & play back, programs you need dvdshrink,ratdvd,dvdfab these will list & open them so you can compile,to play the files as is vlc,k-lite full & cyberlink power dvd

Right click on the file you want to open. Select open with. Then browse to the program file exe that you want to open your file with. Hopefully that will add that program to your list for the next time (if I interpret your question correctly). Also, you could check the box to associate that program with the file type if you so choose for the future.
