OGM[/b] is a container format for video files. Like an AVI file, this means it is not exactly a codec, just a specification. It has an advantage over AVI files when it comes to sound synch issues. The actual video would commonly be XviD video. In order to play OGM files you need to download and install Ogg DirectShow Filters.

The BSplayer is a nice freeware player that will play OGM files on Windows. It also has support for several other multimedia formats; definitely something everyone should have installed.
